Winter Family Photoshoot-Colorado Family Photographer-Snow Holiday Photos

A family that I just absolutely adore...and they requested snow in their family pictures!  How FUN!  I was so excited to meet up and catch up on family news and the winter weather.  These were specifically for their Holiday Christmas cards.  So I had to hold off on posting their blog, but it's always worth the wait.  Their children are so cute and had so much fun in the snow.  We took a break for some hot coco and marshmallows and to warm up, then back outside for a few more pictures. 

Their daughter just beams with sunshine and educated me on the proper hot coco recipe (lots of marshmallows), and their little boy is full of energy and big smiles! They adore their momma and daddy.  I'm sure it was tough to choose one photo, so they chose a few to adorn their family Christmas card with.  So much fun to experience the joy of family life with these guys and watching their kids grow.

Colorful Fall Family Photo Shoot/ Denver Family Photographer

I just had to take on this family photoshoot in the Heart of the Colorado fall. The leaves were the MOST gorgeous I've ever seen in my life.  The reddest of the reds, and the most brilliant colors of orange, and just a burst of yellow...  SO, SO beautiful!  And... here we are... 3 kids under the age of four... And it was SO much FUN!

Their prize for a fast, happy, and good photoshoot was to play on the wonderful playground at the end of the trail.  Just a beautiful backdrop of the lake, rocks, the mountains, and colorful trees.  I will definitely keep this city park on my list of places to go for a diverse terrain on an outdoor location shoot.  The kids had a ball and we only had to bribe them with goldfish...just a few times, ha ha!

Colorado Family Photographer: Ella's 2nd Birthday!

A whole lot of sugar came along with this sweet little girl's 2nd birthday party.  Ella and Elmo were the stars for the day!  The party guests met at the park to play and celebrate with Ella and her family.  Guests made super hero masks, played with silly string, and colored together.  The custom Elmo Cookies and cake were a hit!  Ella had so much fun with her family and friends and of course, Elmo too!  Enjoy the pictures!  

Colorado Vintage Ranch Wedding, Indian Hills Colorado

I was delighted and honored to be asked to photograph a wedding in the beautiful hills of Colorado.  The excitement spread through all of us.  Becky and Bart have huge hearts and a beautiful, beautiful family.  The decor was hay bales draped with vintage table cloths, home grown flowers, hand painted birdhouses, and lit up trees with spectacular lights and lanterns.  The sun was setting as the bride and groom tied the knot and all of the little brides maids and grooms men were ready to eat cake and dance till the sun came up.  The evening was complete with a live band, home made cakes and sweets, special tribute songs, family stories, and a roaring fire complete with glow sticks!  It's kind of nice to feel like family when you are at an event.  Cheers to B&B aka Mr. and Mrs. Jones!
