Colorado’s weather this season has been up and down, but has actually dumped a pretty good amount of snow in Lakewood, Colorado. I LOVE to go out and photograph your family any time of the year, but snow sessions are WAY FUN!
I offer family mini sessions in a park close to my house. It’s convenient for me and because it’s a little cold outside, they are only 20 minutes long. Perfect for any size family to come out and run around in a big field of snow.

I recently had a fantastic session with the "C" family. I've said it before and I'll say it again – I truly have the best clients ever! This family was no exception, either. We met at their house for some inside shots and then were off to the park. They even had a snowball fight... with their kids!!!! It was so fun to watch! They are super fit, super fun and a high energy family. We had tons of laughs in the snow together.
We met at Addenbrooke Park in Lakewood, CO. I love shooting at this location because there are so many natural backdrops in the area. We walked around the little pond and had mountains in our shots, fields of snow, a rocky bridge area, playground area, and lots of Colorado sunsets and beautiful skies.
It truly was an amazing photo shoot. And if any of you are considering a family session or are prepping for an upcoming session, heed the words of the "C" family mom...
“Always bring 2 pairs of shoes...per person!” she says. Solid advice!
