As a Lakewood, Colorado Newborn Photographer, nothing is sweeter than a newborn baby. Their little toes and tiny hands...it just melts my heart. I was honored to photograph this sweet one at 9 days old. He was such a great little subject once he got all comfortable and snuggly. He allowed myself and his mother to pose and direct him through his shoot.
I also took a few shots of lifestyle photography, just to capture the love in the room. Mom and dad, just adoring their new bundle.

C Family shoot; Denver Family Photographer; Lakewood Photographer
Welcome back, everyone!
I recently had a fantastic session with the "C" family. I've said it before and I'll say it again – I truly have the best clients ever! This family was no exception, either. We met at their house for some inside shots and then were off to the park. They even had a snowball fight... with their kids!!!! It was so fun to watch! They are super fit, super fun and a high energy family. We had tons of laughs in the snow together.
We met at Addenbrooke Park in Lakewood, CO. I love shooting at this location because there are so many natural backdrops in the area. We walked around the little pond and had mountains in our shots, fields of snow, a rocky bridge area, playground area, and lots of Colorado sunsets and beautiful skies.
It truly was an amazing photo shoot. And if any of you are considering a family session or are prepping for an upcoming session, heed the words of the "C" family mom...
“Always bring 2 pairs of shoes...per person!” she says. Solid advice!

Anderson Family Christmas Card
Local park...cold day... had to re-schedule due to freezing temps and snow from the first round. Then the second date another storm was rolling in...I'm glad everyone hung in there with the weather, because what an AMAZING family this is! So FULL of energy and smiles. Nothing sweeter than two sisters giving each other their moment, then snuggling up to each other to take a sister picture. I absolutely love that mom thought to bring her favorite chair to use and dad was very complimentary to having some updated pictures taken.
What a joy to be around families that squeeze in 15 minutes to take some quick pictures and use them for Holiday cards and to update their wall portraits. See, not so painful after all...

Winter Family Photoshoot-Colorado Family Photographer-Snow Holiday Photos
A family that I just absolutely adore...and they requested snow in their family pictures! How FUN! I was so excited to meet up and catch up on family news and the winter weather. These were specifically for their Holiday Christmas cards. So I had to hold off on posting their blog, but it's always worth the wait. Their children are so cute and had so much fun in the snow. We took a break for some hot coco and marshmallows and to warm up, then back outside for a few more pictures.
Their daughter just beams with sunshine and educated me on the proper hot coco recipe (lots of marshmallows), and their little boy is full of energy and big smiles! They adore their momma and daddy. I'm sure it was tough to choose one photo, so they chose a few to adorn their family Christmas card with. So much fun to experience the joy of family life with these guys and watching their kids grow.
